Public release of Fabric v0.4.0

We’re thrilled to announce the inaugural public release of Fabric – Fabric v0.4.0! 💥

Fabric is a user-friendly open-source command-line tool designed for reporting workflow automation. It comes with a versatile configuration language for reusable templates – Fabric Configuration Language.

We’re helping security teams improve their reporting and communication processes, reducing threat response time and boosting compliance.

Fabric solves the data consolidation challenge

With data requirements encoded in templates, Fabric can automatically gather the necessary data from various data sources, including SIEMs (Splunk, Elastic), TIPs (OpenCTI, bug bounty platforms (HackerOne), process management tools (GitHub Issues), databases (PostgreSQL, SQLite), APIs (GraphQL), and even Terraform states. The data can be mutated and shaped inside the templates with powerful JQ queries.

We’re constantly expanding the list of integrations!

Fabric simplifies content generation

Whether you prefer precise wording, flexible text templates, or the magic of LLMs, Fabric has you covered!

The document structure is defined with flexible reusable section and content blocks. These blocks are rendered into text, tables, charts, graphs, images, and other content elements.

Bonus

Dive into the open-source, community-supported templates repository to join and contribute to the community of practice. For example, MITRE CTID CTI Blueprints were already transcribed into the templates

Oh, and we’re bringing the power of QA and CI/CD into the mix to enable automated quality enforcement 🤖
